This was one of the largest illustration projects I have done. Kallman Worldwide asked me to illustrate an iconic world map pointing to the locations of its exhibitions from its 2009-2010 trade show schedule, while honoring the 100th anniversary of the Paris Air Show. Spanning ten feet long by six feet high, the backdrop playfully displays world-famous icons and the history of flight. This project was a challenge that pushed my skills further than ever before. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of meeting the specifications for the backdrop while fulfilling my client’s vision, including the many details, and combining playful illustrations with the impressive history of aviation.
